Spider-eating Whippersnapper

A few weeks ago my 14-month-old daughter walked up to me with something in her mouth. It didn’t appear to be food or a booger, so I yelled “Get that out of your mouth.” She opened up her mouth and spit out a brown widow spider. No harm done, except to the spider. I think it drowned.

  1. I admit to being a tad bit freaked out. But, as you can see from the photo, my little darling is rotten enough to eat a poisonous spider and still have mischief to spare.

  2. It was definitely the last thing I expected to see come out of her mouth. Lego, crayon, socks, anything but a spider. Don't let her adorable facade fool you–she's the female real-life version of BamBam!
